All Otago Medical Students are eligible to purchase an exclusive ring that symbolises your achievements and goals towards becoming a doctor. This symbolic design combines a book which represents knowledge, and the Rod of Asclepius that symbolises the Greek deity Asclepius, associated throughout history as a deity that represents healing and medicine.


The OUMSA is available in Sterling Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, White Gold or Platinum. Each ring can be custom sized to fit your finger and personalised with engraving of your choice (for example, "Initials ~ Qualification ~ Class Year"). It comes in a bespoke OUMSA ring box.


Orders can take up to 8 weeks for manufacture and delivery. Please note, the images displayed are computer rendered images and are only an indication of the rings.
